Drinking on or around college campuses can have many negative affects on a student's social life, health, and education. Excessive drinking, primarily known as binge drinking, is considered one of the largest problems on college campuses today. Binge drinking by college students has become a social phenomenon in which college students do not heed to health risks that are involved with their drinking habits. Moreover, college students do not take enough regard to the information given to them about the grave dangers that can come from alcohol abuse.
Louisiana State University students end up missing class, having unprotected sex, damaging property, and getting seriously injured as a result of abusing alcohol. Also, the health risks involved with drinking are very common and risky for any college student who chooses to abuse alcohol. There have been a few fatal accidents involving alcohol at L.S.U. within in the past few years...
