In the world of sports marketing, one of the most sought after jobs would be that of general manager. Especially the general manager of a professional sports team. The general manager has a wide array of responsibilities. HE must build the business and supervising all the aspects of the team and it's facilities. They are in charge of the promotions manager, the facility director, the public relations director and many others. They report directly to the owner of the team.
When it comes to earnings, the lowest salary range would be down around $50,000 a year. However the average salary is more towards $75,000, and the top salaries can be upwards of $250,000+. This is not to mention all the included benefits that com from the job such as season tickets to all the team's games, free food and lodging, a nice car, and various other luxuries.
