Many people argue that Bill O’Reilly is a conservative that thinks he knows the big fix for all the problems facing the social structure of the United States. ... In the television special on the corruption of American children, O’Reilly addresses some obvious areas of corrupting influence. I happen to agree with Bill O’Reilly’s reasoning that mass media has a negative affect on children. I don’t think he went overboard at all.

While this is true, the problem with this claim is that the wholesome songs that they speak of don’t have the popularity that ICP or other groups that O’Reilly talks about. It is the rap music that has explicit lyrics about sex and violence that kids listen to. ...
The next area of the media that O’Reilly attacks is the television industry. ... O’Reilly focuses on the obvious outlets of violence with wrestling.
