In the Declaration Of Independence, This Is the phrase that enables me to see a bright future for myself and to understand the virtues of our country, America, that led to be the country that it is today. People set up governments to protect their basic rights. Governments get their power from the consent of the governed. (as stated in the textbook). If government infringes on the Basic rights of the people, the people should have the power to change the government. The right to live is the right to live life on your own terms. It is the right to believe in who you want, and have your own beliefs. And to live by any culture you desire. Liberty is the right in my eyes to be free and to have the ability to make your own decisions It is also the right to be able to think your own thoughts...
