I recently went to a punk show at the former Pink Cadillac, which I believe is called the Island Club & Cafe now. I am not too sure on that. Haven't been to any shows lately so I hardly knew any of the local bands anymore, and the 86 List were the only ones I could recall seeing before. Well, the bands were decent enough on that particular night. Well, the surroundings was the same as always; dark, smokey, and crowded. There were lights and stuff all around the ceiling that illuminated some colorful shapes on the floor. The place was really loud of course, as it is quite a compact area with full blown speakers and a band playing. People were in and out of the mosh pit and everyone generally seemed to be having a good time.
