It is because our nation believes in safety; I stand firmly in favor of the resolution.
Resolved: The United States has a moral obligation to mitigate international conflict.

2. Mitigate: to work or operate (with or against)
3. Moral Obligation: a duty that ought to be performed: responsibility, imperative...
