Many people are fascinated by ancient mysteries. One of these mysteries are Stonehenge. Stonehenge has many different stories behind it's construction and the uses of it.
Stonehenge is located about seventy-five miles sout-soutwest of London and eight miles north of Salisbury (Niel 7). Many people want to know about the history of Stonehenge ("Stonehenge").
Within the circular trench the stones are arranged in four series: the outer most is a circle of sandstones about 13.5 (4.1 m) high connected by lintels; the second is a circle of bluestones menhirs; the third is horseshoe shaped; the inner most, ovoid, within the ovoid lies the Alter Stone. The Heelstone is a great upright stone in the Avenue northeast of the circle. ("Stonehenge" 36829)
