Yes, I do believe that the current situation is a direct result of mismanagement on behalf of Hardy’s previous supervisor at Caventy. Following a case of chronic absenteeism, the manager decided to transfer Hardy to Birmingham, while failing to provide a formal account of his behaviour at Caventy, to the head office HR department. ... Although, it is possible that Hardy changes his ways and becomes a model employee, I think that given his history such a scenario is the least probable one. ... In the case, he exhibits all four “symptoms” associated with this condition. ... Hardy is consistently reluctant to acknowledge his own shortcomings. ... It appears that Hardy displays over-exaggerated excitement about the slight possibility of future promotion. ... Hardy can ever truly accept anyone’s authority over him. ... Once again, I do believe that the current decision was another case of mismanagement and I am convinced it will cause more problems down the road.
