John Lennon: The Struggled Life and Ironic Death
John Lennon once quoted, "You've got to admit it's getting better, it's getting better all the time." Lennon was one of the largest peace activists in his time, and never once gave up on the image of 'World Peace.' He affected the world and generations to come through his music, actions, and words. John Lennon was fearless in what he said and did, and on many occasions risked his reputation to grow as an artist and political figure. Many musicians today have been inspired by Lennon's music, and the Beatles' unique mixture of American blues and country music, British hymns, and music hall tunes changed the sound of pop music (Doswell 48). John's fame, sense of humor and political opinions made sure that the world's press would always be interested in what he had to say (Doswell 51)...
