Book Report Title: Fahrenheit 451 Theme: Don't just watch T.V. all the time, take time to read a book. Setting: Future, a time where books have no meaning. Characters: Guy Montag, Clarisse McClellan, Mildred Montag, Beatty Black. 3. Plot- As this book starts Montag is a fire fighter, but as you find out later, fire fighters don't put out fires in this time period, they start them. This book is set far in the future where all houses are totally fire-proof. As you learn by reading you find that the people in this book lost interest in books, they almost stopped reading entirely. People somehow became less interested in books, all that they say and teach. Eventually the United States' government made reading illegal entirely, so instead of firing all their fire fighters, they put them to work as book collectors.
