Do they have too many privileges and accommodations in prison and jails or even detention centers for that matter? ... We can see many different points of views with films from the 1930’s up to the present. Watching these films based around the criminal justice
System puts things into perspectives for the viewer even if you watch the show beginning with one belief. ... In these movie analysis’s hopefully many different points of view with be apparent and help you the reader come to his own conclusions. ... He was thrown into chain gang in a prison camp named Camp county #2. ... He is put back in prison for 90 days, and then he is said to be released. ... Well days turn into months and months into years so James takes it upon himself to break back out of prison and just become what they made him into a criminal on the run. ... It also shows how in prison loss of hope can be fatal in that suicide can be accomplished if desired. ... This shows two points in the movie how the system can wrongfully prosecute an innocent person by sending sweet little Mary Allen to prison with all those criminals. ... This movie could have an underlying meaning in that the system really doesn’t care about what happens to you after reach a certain point, meaning prison. ... Then the timeline jumps about close to twenty more years later when this instutionalized youth has become a gang leader from within prison. ...
From one aspect this shows how the system has kept a known drug lord and gang leader off of the streets but what if he would have never went to prison. ...
