Body Language
There is a famous saying that "actions speak louder than words." What does that mean? It means what you do is worth more than what you say. The study of body language is called Kinesics. According to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, body language is defined as "gestures, movements, and mannerisms by which a person or animal communicates with others." Gestures and body language have been called "the silent language" (Axtell 11). It is another form to communication with people. Body language is all around us, from the day we are born until the rest of our lives. It is recognized of being of great importance to the world of communicating.
