I Do
Each Sunday morning I step out of my house to retrieve the San Antonio Express News paper. One of my favorite sections of the paper is the engagement/wedding announcements. As I lay in bed looking at the faces of all the brides to be faces and the newly engaged couples pictures, I can not help thinking, Unfortunately more than half of these couples will be divorced in a years time. Why is there so much divorce in this day in age? There are several reasons for divorce; most couples find the temptations of infidelity too hard to resists, some marry for selfishness, others fall victim of to lack of communication and or not being able to keep finances up to par.
Many people will agree that one of the keys to a good marriage starts as a child and seeing your own parents in matrimony. Each decade it seems more difficult to stay married. In times past, marriage was sort of a right of passage for young adults. In this day in age, some decide to marry for reasons that are not well thought-out. Marriage seems to be the next step and/or the right thing to do...
