This story has an interesting characteristic and is a really interesting setting in the city. It is about a troubled boy who tries to steal an elderly woman=s purse and when caught, the woman takes the boy in and teaches him a very good life=s lesson. The theme is about not doing wrong. The setting could possibly take place in the late seventies. The people have an inter-city dialect.
In this story, a poor boy, who is hungry and wears very tattered clothing gets into trouble when he attempts to steal from a helpless looking woman. This woman is a heavy set woman and looks like she couldn't defend herself; the boy was proven wrong when she fought back. The boy falls down to the floor and the lady kicks him in the stomach and says Acome with me so we can wash that dirty face of yours".
Mrs. Jones didn't release the boy because he said he would run if she released him...
