The 20th century was a decade of both disappointmentsand accomplishments for women .Their rights to property were virtually eliminated and they were barred from universities . The only solution that women had was to marry and after that they were their husband's property . the three factors that lead to women equality and freedom included changes in culture , workforce and politics .
