In today's society abortion is becoming more and more common. Various people are turning to abortion for many different reasons. Not only teenagers, but also adults are leaning towards abortion over becoming a parent for life because, they prefer to keep their life the same, they're not yet ready to accept the responsibilities of parenthood, and they feel they deserve the right to a self-respectable decision.
Finding out that you are carrying an infant can alter your life forever. Being a young parent can become costly, and one may not be able to afford it. The majority of teenagers don't maintain their own jobs; generally their parents take care of them and pay for all the necessities. Another important factor, education, is to a great extent required for jobs, general knowledge, and the educated pursuit of happiness. Having a child is comparable to a full time job; all the other priorities have to be on stand by or non-existence. Any sort of social life is reduced to a minimum if not gone entirely. Having a toddler run about tends to get in the way of time to party and hang out with friends...
