12 Angry Men Classical Argument Paper The film is a powerful reflection, insight and it exposes the trial by jury system. The frightened, teenaged defendant is on trial, as well as the jury and the American judicial system with its alleged sense of fairness and lack of bias. The teenaged defendant on trial has to be innocent due to the facts that the men recognized as reasonable doubt. The evidence just didn’t seem to add up and none of it fit in place to exactly prove that the teenaged boy killed his father. One man wants to be sure all reasonable doubt has been erased, and give all due deliberation that the grave nature of this case demands. He feels from the beginning that this young man has a chance of being innocent due to some incorrect facts and evidence that are brought up by the different witness throughout the trial. Davis or juror No.8 is the man who is responsible for the whole jury’s final innocent verdict.
