The Theme of Love in Romeo and Juliet
There are many different themes in Shakespeare's writings. Among them is
Romeo and Juliet, a play with a prevailing theme of love. The focus of this play is the
chaos that love brings. Though it portrays a picture of passionate love, it also portrays a
picture of tragedy. In the end, the tragedy and chaos of Romeo and Juliet's love not
only brings death, but also brings closure to the feud or the Montegues and Capulets.
Romeo and Juliet's love result from a mistake. One of Capulet's servants told
Romeo and some of his friend's about the party being thrown. They decided to attend
and it was love at first sight from Romeo and Juliet. They fell in love with a kiss.
Later, Juliet found out the sad truth of Romeo's heritage...
