By any means a college education is an excellent investment one that will pay you back over your lifetime. College graduates took home an average of $45,678 per year as compared to the $24,572 average salary of those who only completed high school. Over a lifetime a college graduate will earn nearly $600,000 more than someone with only a high school diploma will. Today 95 percent of jobs require technology skills and the technological globally competitive future we face will no doubt put an even greater premium on education. College will, also add to your personal development. Bringing you in contact with people, ideas and experience that you might have encountered. College prepares you to actively participate in a democratic society. You will learn to think critically and to communicate your thoughts clearly.
