The flu, also known as Influenza, is a virus that attacks the respiratory system of humans. The flu is highly contagious,
spreading form person to person. The spreading is usually from sprays of infections respiratory secretions caused by coughing or
sneezing. The most common symptoms are: fever (up to 104 F), chills, muscle aches and pains, sweating, dry cough, nasal
congestion, sore throat, headache, and fatigue. Symptoms of the flu usually come suddenly. The flu is caused by a virus called the
Influenza virus. Viruses can only reproduce in the living cells which they infect. There are three different types of the flu virus,
which are Influenza A, B, and C. Influenza type A can infect both humans and animals, while Influenza B and C infect only humans.
