What is it like adjusting to the United States? Answering this question was the purpose of my interview with my roommate, Jeremy Jones. This was an excellent chance to get to know more about the culture that Jeremy comes from, as I was already interested in it from previous discussions that we have shared on the subject. I wanted to get an idea of what it was like living in Jamaica, as well as how difficult, or how easy it was to become accustomed to life in the States after living in a culture that shared little more than it's official language with us. Most of what I knew about Jamaica previous to this interview was based on Bob Marley. There was a LOT more to be found.
The first question that I asked was about the difficulty of adjusting to the States after living in Jamaica. His response was multi-faceted. The thing that Jeremy remembers the most about the change is the vast difference in climate. The weather down in the Caribbean is a good deal warmer for most of the year...
