Before we begin to examine this topic, let me give firstly some considerations to the law in general.
Firstly, I should mention that the term "sources of law of contract" in this lectures would mean historical or law documents, which give us the possibility to learn and cognise the law related to contracts.
There exists a famous opinion or assertion about the law: "If someone knows a little of law, he or she will know a little of everything". That assertion is true. The law affects us all from the moment we are born. We live in a society that is bound by rules. Not all these rules are legal ones: many will simply be social conventions. For instance, it is a convention that a man will normally take his hat off in church. But it is a legal rule that one person shall not hit another.
