Introduction:
Based on Flynt's true story; the movie portrays the legal struggles of a rebellious entrepreneur. After living a poor childhood in Kentucky, Flynt comes to Cincinnati and starts his club "Hustler". His second step in his career, publishing a publicity "newsletter" called "Hustler", takes him in a long journey. This step brings not only wealthy life but also a life in courtrooms.
First issue:
The first issue of Larry Flynt was pandering obscenity and organized crime. Flynt was distributing his newsletter "Hustler" in Cincinnati. In conservative Cincinnati community Charles Keating was the leader of "Citizens for Decent Literature". He set the group into action against Larry Flynt's newsletter. At the court, prosecutor defines magazine by saying "Hustler magazine depicts people in a lewd and shameful manner."
