Charles Manson: His Life, His Influence
Serial killers have lingered in dark alleyways and terrorized the unsuspecting for decades. There is something that sets them apart from the normal human being. Some aspect of the way they think, act, and speak is almost horrifying in its own. The question of if they were born to think the sick thoughts that make them the criminals they are, or if they learned by experience to think that way is something that we still do not have the answer to. Maybe it is a sheer fact of neglect as a child that makes a killer so bitter, or maybe they are born lacking the essential social skills which results in introversion. In the case of Charles Manson, it is hard to distinguish one aspect of his demeanor that made him the monster he once was, and possibly if he was not behind bars, still would be.
Charles Manson was born an illegitimate son of a six-teen year old mother, and a father by the name of Colonel Scott, whom he never met. Manson's mother was sent to prison for armed robbery when Manson was a child. She attempted to put him in a foster home, but he landed in Gibault
