Scene: This is the scene where Mitch and Charlie are about to leave Atlantic City, New Jersey. Charlie is going really fast in a Sport Utility Vehicle and decides she does not need Mitch anymore. So she pushes him out of the car, while it is moving, but comes back to pick him up anyway.
Lighting: The car Charlie is driving is very dark on the inside. When Mitch is thrown onto the street, the corner has very few lights. There are just enough for some homeless people to see what they are doing.
Editing: The major editing in this scene happens when Mitch is talking to Charlie about why she is going so fast. The camera does not move. It goes back and forth between the two of them while they are having their conversation. At the end of the conversation, right before when Mitch is tossed out of the car by Charlie, the camera shows both of them at the same time...
