Imagine knowing a little boy of four years old, giving him a piece of music he has never seen before, and seeing him learn it within a half an hours time. This is exactly what Mozart did. Mozart was known as a child prodigy by the time he was seven. When he was just five years old, he was composing his own music and traveling all over Europe playing famous piano pieces.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg. His father was Leopold Mozart, who was himself a composer, and teacher, as well as Wolfgangs biggest mentor. Mozarts mother was Anna Maria Mozart. There is close to no information on her. Anna Maria had 7 children but 5 of then died during infancy.
