Overview
The Wallace Group Inc. is a diversified company, which manufactures technical products and systems. It is composed by three groups V Electronic, Plastics, and Chemicals. Its principal sales are to large contractors in defense-related and automotive markets.
The Electronics and Plastics performed well but lack growth in markets, and the Chemicals performance was not satisfactory, and profits might decline. Some long-term employees were upset with the top management team and in an annual stockholders meeting they called for the resignation of the president of the Wallace Group V Mr. Harold Wallace. The president thought the company was still in modest growth, but he heard some employees complain the current situation. As a result, he wants to know what was the greatest problem company is facing now right now.
