Structure of Corporations Today
Unlike America's core corporations that are based on High Volume enterprises, today's structure of corporations is based on two new main enterprises, High Value and Global Web.
The High Value enterprise is not based on a pyramid like the core corporations are, but is mostly based on three groups that have the most valueproblem-solvers, problem-identifiers, and strategic brokers. Problem-solvers must have extensive knowledge to know the outcome of an assembled product and then to design such outcomes. Problem-solvers are continually searching for new ideas, applications, combinations, and refinements to solve any problem that may emerge. Next you have the Problem-identifiers who need to have skills to help customers understand their needs and what product would meet those specific needs the best. To carry out this, Problem-identifiers must know the industry they are in and who is involved. They must identify new problems and opportunities to provide a product that will solve that specific problem. To know your customer needs and where competition may be is a key. Last of the three important groups of the High Value enterprise are the strategic brokers.
