How Race Effects Me
Race affects me, the same way it affects the rest of our world. Race in itself, entails how society views you. Take for example, golf extraordinaire Tiger Woods. Tiger is Asian and African-American. Tiger knows of his Asian heritage, but society labels Tiger as black. Now does this society view you and me the same in terms of race? Society probably will not view us the same, unless you are an African-American such as myself. As an African-American, anything I do is almost always related to race. Race directly and indirectly correlates with my education, my career goals, and also my daily social life.
