Struggling, guilty, and speechless. That is the way both the main characters of Marigold and Thank you Ma'am by Langston Hughes felt. Marigolds is written by Eugenia W. Collier, and Thank you Ma'am by Langston Hughes. Both of these stories are very interesting and different. The uniqueness of these stories is what makes them really absorbing. They are both so unpredictable, and that's really the good thing about it. There are a lot of similarities in the stories even they are not written by the same author as well as differences in their immaturity of main characters, , and ending.
