I want to be a lot of things in this world. My motivation is to make it out of this little town. Somehow some way I have to make something out of my life. As I see everyone like my father working in the mines it only makes me sad. I just can’t picture myself doing this for the rest of my life. Sure everyone else works in the mines, but I don’t want to be like everyone else. I’m going against all odds on my journey to become a scientist. It’s just hard to get thru studying to be a scientist because of the internal conflicts I’m having. Right now I’m just trying to win the science fair. That’s a small goal compared to my yet awaited goal to become a scientist. I have to battle and do well with my rocket if I at least want a shot at winning the science fair. It’s extremely hard because I have to study every little move I make with my rockets. I have to act like if I’m already a scientist. Not only do I have internal conflicts, but I also have external conflicts such as with my dad.
