Yellowstone National Park Maybe a Big Concern
Areas of Yellowstone National Park have been closing to the public due to intense thermal warming of the areas surface. In July 2003 Norris Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park had unstable changes. Scientist and visitors witnessed changes in many geysers and increased ground temperatures in the southwestern part of the geyser basin. Earlier that Spring, the Steamboat geyser, which normally erupts every ten years erupted twice. The geyser also erupted twice in 2002 and once in 2000. What does all of this mean? Is Yellowstone in danger? Are we in danger?
Yellowstone National Park is actually the result from great explosive eruptions and profound collapse of the ground, enormously thick lava flows, uplift and extensive faulting, and the erosive power of flowing water and ice.
