When I went to visit the Holocaust museum I didn't have a lot of significant knowledge about the Holocaust and its disturbing history. I entered the brick and limestone building from the14th street entrance. (Fig.1) I went through the squared arches and the curved portico not knowing or feeling any type of attitude towards it. Once in the building I walked immediately into the Hall of Witness, then I went upstairs into the Hall of Remembrance. The overall effects of these two halls were sad but I had no real feelings towards them. I knew there had to be more to this museum. I was missing something, an important something.
