INTERNET ASSIGNMENT
Medical malpractice law is a great fascination of mine due to the uneducated emotional jury awards, the injustice to doctors that were trying to do their best and perhaps even to the person a travesty has just beset. I will establish that when writing a paper on this subject if a person were limited to only two web sites, one being informational and one advocacy, the sites I will examine here are strong in their subject content and have a good possibility to be helpful assets. These sights can cover several topics, such as what makes a good malpractice case to the very history of law. The research I would hope to accomplish is the primary defense for winning in the favor of doctors and how to limit jury awards if possible and/or to study the make up of individuals themselves that sit on these juries and what as a political science student can be learned from them. The sites do have one hang up however and that is that they are sympathetic but the information is up to date and the sights are well constructed and easy to navigate.
The first web site I will choose as my informational web sight is www.h-net.org/~law/ the name of the site is H- LAW. This site is the most unbiased of my two sites, as it should be since it is largely educational and sponsored by the American Society for Legal History...
