Are you willing to risk it all so your love one could live? Or would you just face the fact that its time for your love one to go to the great beyond. Maybe you would go out of your way and try your best keep that person alive, even if it meant that you might be arrested or killed along the way. In the movie John Q, this problem was shown in an emotional moving way that would touch any heart of any viewer. The story is about a man working hard to provide for his family of a wife and his only son. This family is working hard just to live from day to day. The father works at a steal mill and the mother works at what seems to be a fast food place, while the boy has dreams of becoming a body builder. One day at a baseball game the boy is running from first to second base but ends up falling and passing out. From there he's taken to the hospital, were the parents find out that their son will not live if he does not get a new heart. The hospital says that they will need $20,000 cash just to place their son on the donor's list for a new heart...
