Cloning Extinct Animals
A hundred species of animal are being wiped of the face eof the Earth. But how to stop this? One suggestion that has been put forward is cloning- one that can also bring back extinct animals. People have used natures way of crossbreeding to try and replicate an extinct animal but cloning can bring back the real thing.
The thing necessary for cloning is DNA and as it contains the instructions for building an animal, scientists can use the instructions and create an extinct animal.
Cloning has already been used to create the first cloned animal. Dolly, a sheep.
But there are a few glitches in cloning an extinct animal:
 You need near perfect DNA, which is hard, if the animal has been extinct for along time.
 You would have to find masculine and feminine DNA of the animal so they could breed
 All cloned animals would be condemned to a life in the zoo which environmentalists would strongly disagree with.
