In the past few decades, there have been countless advances in human technology that have immeasurably and irreversibly altered all the lives of every person. Technology has helped us live longer, happier, and fuller lives. We are quick to reap the benefits but few research the risks involved. One of the newest issues facing the world today is genetically altered crops. They are also referred to as genetically mutated or genetically engineered crops. Whatever the name, this new advancement is causing much uneasiness in the United States, as well as the rest of the world.
Genetically engineered crops, or GE crops, are beneficial in many ways. Scientists tamper with the crops DNA in order to manipulate some characteristics in order to make them more desirable.
