Individualized Fitness Plan
Goal: The goal of my individualized fitness plan is to improve my cardiovascular endurance and my muscular strength.
I am going to accomplish this by breaking my workout routine into two different parts. The first part is muscular endurance. I plan on accomplishing this by using a lifting program used by many professional athletes. The program begins after an individual determines their maximum intensity for several different lifting techniques. The techniques that I will apply this program towards are bench press, military press, and back squats. After determining my maximum intensity in each of these three workouts, I will begin the eight-week program. The program begins with two weeks of performing five sets of five repetitions at intensity levels ranging from 60-70%. Every other day, the intensity level goes up 5% and then starts over after 70%. Upon the completion of the first stage of this lifting cycle, I will then move into four weeks of entirely different sets and repetitions for the duration of these four weeks, I will perform each of the three exercises using repetitions of 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1...
