Of the many forms of love, the two that many people misinterpret are puppy love and true love. They are similar in a lot of ways, but different in many ways as well. A majority of people experience puppy love in our society, and very few experience the true love that can transverse obstacles and pass the test of time. However, many people think they have found true love because they do not understand the difference between the two.
Puppy love is centered around lust and infatuation. For the most part teens experience this sort of love, but occasionally adults can undergo this sort of passion as well. Normally a person can tell if they are experiencing puppy love because they like someone for their physical appearance rather than who they really are underneath. One example of this is my friend Harry. His longest relationship lasted two weeks and, because he was shallow, he only went for the "good-looking" people, never looking beneath the surface.
