Daisy was a lovely young lady created in the mind of Henry James. As a fictional character, she possessed real human qualities and traits, leading many to believe she was a real person. People claim, however, that they have seen signs of the dainy young woman, others think it only a silly superstition. What is your opinion: fact or fiction? In “The Masque of Red Death,” Edgar Allan Poe uses symbolism to convey the message that death is inescapable no matter how it’s avoided.
