Daisy Miller by Henry James

Daisy was a lovely young lady created in the mind of Henry James. As a fictional character, she possessed real human qualities and traits, leading many to believe she was a real person. People claim, however, that they have seen signs of the dainy young woman, others think it only a silly superstition. What is your opinion: fact or fiction? In “The Masque of Red Death,” Edgar Allan Poe uses symbolism to convey the message that death is inescapable no matter how it’s avoided. People cannot stop death, no matter what they do, it is merely unavoidable.
