It has been over twenty years since I graduated from college. It's funny, but I can still remember those days as though I was still in school. I guess that is just nature preserving a happy snapshot that we may be able to remember what it was like to be so carefree and know so much.
While I remember a few of my instructors, most of them have faded to a mere ghost or into total oblivion. Perhaps this is because they were instructors and not teachers! Don't misunderstand me. We all need instruction in how to do things. Most of the skills needed to survive in our world are received by careful instruction. Anyone can be an instructor - all it takes are the proper credentials and a room full of sometimes willing receptacles which are to receive the information presented.
Since that time, I have found that there are really very few teachers...
