Whether or not we should go to war with Iraq is something many people have passionate feelings about, whether they’re for or against it. Those for it believe that attacking Iraq is a preventative measure against terrorism, and that if we dont attack Iraq, Iraq will attack us. A lot of people think Saddam Hussein is a tyrannical leader, and we have to go to war with his country to get rid of him. ... But that should not be a sufficient basis for taking the war to Iraq. For several reasons, the Bush administration should not follow a successful prosecution of the war in Afghanistan with another war in Iraq unless it presents evidence that Saddam helped finance, organize, or implement the Sept. ...
Once you acknowledge that the United States is at war, its a simple matter to conclude that this isnt the best time to launch a full-scale war with Iraq. Yes, Iraq is a menace to its Arab neighbors, but none of those neighbors will support a U. ... war against Iraq, not even Kuwait! ...
