Living in the 21st Century gives us many technological perks; personal computers and the Internet, cell phone, high speed vechicles. all of these things have changed and effected peoples' lives. Of all these technological advances that people have just lately accomplished, the most influential and important one is the computer. This fairly recent invention has skyrocketed in its level of people's dependence upon it. Computers in the hospital are absolutely recquired these days, as most of the talking, handshaking and lunch meetings are performed over a modem connection. Everywhere you look in the hospital you'll find computers. The age of carrying out simple tasks manually is over, as you need a computer to open up medicine holders, order food, make evaluations, communicate with doctors, even wash the floors! The dietary service, the professional/medical service, and the materials management service have all benefited from, and now depend on computers.
The food ordering process has been sped up immensely now that all the information can be perfectly organized and stored in a convenient computer.
