With rapid expansion of the commercial world, 'flexibility' has become one of the main factors common to all businesses today. The concept of 'one geographical location to one business' has become obsolete with the new innovations and concepts of Information Technology. IT has a great impact on all businesses. In fact you almost cannot find a single business which does not come into contact with IT in one way or another. As a result of this connection between the IT industry and the commercial world, businesses tend to grow rapidly. This essay will approach the topic in three different angles, who is a data facility manager, what is relocation and the issues this data facility manager has to face in relocating to a new premises.
