Factory Work
Working in a factory may not be a suitable career choice for a person with a family. A strong and successful factory, whose product is in high demand, often requires the employees to go above and beyond most other jobs. Working in a factory can be very difficult on it's employees; however, it is necessary to be aware of all benefits and drawbacks of these jobs. There are several negative aspects in working for a factory such as odd hours, long days, often times working several days in a row without a day off and working in extremely noisy environments are all common drawbacks.
When working for a factory whose business is strong one can expect to work odd hours. It is often necessary for a major company to run production twenty four hours a day, and perhaps seven days a week in order to get the product shipped out to the customer as promised. To run a business for twenty-four hours, some employees will have to work one of three shifts. The hardest shift to work for a person with a family is third shift due to the fact that one works all knight while their family sleeps.
