Values are each individual's personal beliefs of right or wrong, good or bad. We each have our own set of values or standards that begin to develop in childhood and continue to evolve, as we grow older. Values often change as new circumstances and situations arise in our lives. Some of our values are ingrained in us from childhood, such as religious beliefs and family values. These values are normally derived from our family structure/social and economic environments.
