Eastern European music encompasses an area so broad that it would be impossible to do that subject justice in only ten pages. So with the guidance of information I found from Kitka's website, I selected one country to focus on; Macedonia, or as it is known today, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). Macedonia is in South East Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula, an area divided among Greece, Bulgaria, and the Republic of Macedonia. This country has had an interesting history in terms of its existence as a country.
