The main reason why cultural globalisation is equal to westernisation is related to language. First, English, which is a most popular of west language has become as a major language for communication all around the world. According to economist site, 38 million people speak English as their first language and approximately two-thirds of the rest use English as their second language, and a billion are trying to learn it. Moreover, it is expected, half of the world will speak English by 2050 (economist site.2001). Second, in most of the world English is used as a business language. Unique business language enables people of different countries to do business with each other.
