Behaviorism
Does anyone ever really stop to think about the methods they use to teach their children or do they just raise them? It's true, we do just raise children, but in reality we use methods of behaviorism in our everyday lives. Surprisingly we use them not only with children but with anyone, whether it is a boyfriend or even a parent. A man named John Watson was the first person to begin to study American behaviorism. Behaviorism is an approach that views observable events, stimuli and responses, as the cause for development of certain behaviors. Watson wanted to discard the psychoanalytic theory and create his own psychology by looking at the way the mind works. After studying and research he developed the classical conditioning theory.
