This week paper will deal with differences between Mesh, Bus, Ring, and Star topologies, Ethernet, Token Ring, FIDDI, and Wireless. We will also explain briefly the levels of the OSI model TCP/IP functions.
Mesh
Mesh topology is where all the computers are connect with any unneeded interconnections between the network. There are two kinds of mesh full and partial. In full mesh all the nodes are connected to each other in the network. In partial mesh some of the nodes are organized in a full mesh scheme, but others are only connected to one or two in the network. Full mesh is much more expensive than partial mesh, but yields the greatest amount of redundancy. Some advantages of mesh are that it will have high output and security.
